SLING consortium members are academic, research, development, educational and other public and private institutions, associations and infrastructures that have expressed an interest in participating.
Become a member of the SLING Consortium
- To join the consortium, please send a letter of intent to info@sling.si. In your letter, please define how your institution’s field of activity fits with the SLING mission.
- The decision to approve the accession of a new member is taken by the SLING Consortium Board at a Board meeting.
- In case of consent, the interested institution will sign the “Declaration of Accession to the Agreement Establishing the Slovenian National Supercomputing Network SLING Consortium” and, if applicable, the “Power of Attorney for Representation in the Council of the Slovenian National Supercomputing Network SLING Consortium” and thus become a member of the Consortium.
A Member may withdraw from the SLING Consortium by written declaration of withdrawal from the “Agreement Establishing the Slovenian National Supercomputing Network SLING Consortium” in accordance with Article 17, paragraph 3 of this Agreement.
A Member shall also be deemed to have withdrawn from the SLING Consortium if its legal representative or a person authorised by it does not attend the meetings of the SLING Council for more than 2 years. Such withdrawal from the Consortium and from this Agreement shall be decided by a decision of the SLING Council, a copy of which shall be sent to the Member.
SLING Members have no financial obligations towards the Consortium.
