The 14th edition of the Platform for Advanced Scientific Computing (PASC) Conference will take place from 28 to 30 June 2027 in Lugano, Switzerland. Under the theme “Accelerating Scientific Computing through AI-HPC Convergence: Open Challenges,” this year’s conference will focus on exploring how the convergence of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing (HPC) can accelerate scientific discoveries while preserving scientific rigor, reproducibility, transparency, reliability, adaptability, and co-design principles for future scientific workflows.
Contributions can be submitted in several formats, including minisymposia (submission deadline: 9 December), papers (submission deadline: 12 December), minisymposium presentations (submission deadline: 22 December), and posters (submission deadline: 31 January).
Submissions are particularly encouraged in the following areas:
- Chemistry and Materials (incl. ceramics, metals, polymers)
- Climate, Weather, and Earth Sciences (incl. solid earth dynamics)
- Applied Social Sciences and Humanities (incl. behavioral, economic, legal, political, business, philosophy, languages, the arts, ethics in computing such as environmental impact of HPC, mitigation of biases in algorithms, machine learning, etc.)
