EuroHPC Announces Six New AI Factories

On 10 October 2025, the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) announced the selection of six new sites to establish AI Factories: in Czechia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and Spain. The new centres will become operational next year and will complement the existing network of 13 AI Factories across Europe.

Each new AI Factory will serve as a national hub for artificial intelligence, providing startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and researchers with access to supercomputing resources, data, training, and expert support.

The AI Factory in Spain will also include an experimental platform dedicated to the development and testing of innovative AI models and to promoting European collaboration.

This expansion will further strengthen Europe’s AI infrastructure and consolidate Europe’s position as a global leader in the development and application of artificial intelligence.
