Arnes HPC cluster is the second most powerful in Slovenia and represents the only cluster accessible to both basic and advanced users, as well as to those who are just entering the world of supercomputing. It is used both in educational processes and for research and experiments.
Who is the Arnes HPC cluster for?
Arnes HPC cluster supercomputer supports educational use, while among researchers it is most widely used in the fields of artificial intelligence and knowledge technology, theoretical physics and particle physics, genomics, computational chemistry, and in big data processing.

The current specifications of the cluster are listed in the table below. The login node for the Arnes HPC cluster is: hpc-login.arnes.si. The HPC system was first made available at Arnes in 2009 and has undergone numerous upgrades since then.
