At this year’s EESTech Challenge<\/a>, which took place on 6 and 7 April in Ljubljana, Arctur’s technical team challenged students to develop a predictive model for mountain trail visitation. The EESTech Challenge offers students a venue to apply their theoretical knowledge to practical issues, especially in computer science and electrical engineering, by using advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence. For Arctur, this event was a precious opportunity to not only challenge and inspire students but also to observe the fresh ideas and innovative solutions they contribute. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

During the EESTech Challenge hackathon, Arctur’s technical team put forth a task for the students: “Predictive Model of Visiting Mountain Trails.” Over 24 hours, 18 student teams engaged in solving specific challenges typical of everyday engineering tasks. Arctur’s challenge involved developing both a predictive model for trail visitation and a software application for data visualization and prediction. Guided by Arctur’s skilled professionals, five determined teams took up the gauntlet. <\/p>\n\n

The SLING National Competence Centre also presented itself at the stand during the competition.<\/p>\n\n
